Bonnie Sturgis Along with teaching herself to paint by copying the old Masters, Bonnie Sturgis has studied painting here and abroad. She had the opportunity to study decorative painting with Priscilla Hauser, and while in the Azores she painted with and learned from Portuguese artist Señor Francisco Diaz. Bonnie lived in Italy for four years where she spent time painting and visiting art galleries and museums. She has studied watercolor painting from Jim Gensher, a wonderful teacher in Augusta, Georgia. Recently, she has been teaching classes at Michaels and ArtCoop.  Look for Bonnie’s Tuesday classes at ArtCoop in which students will complete an acrylic painting.
